Deleting your account

Deletion removes your account and any Agents registered under it, and it can’t be undone. Chat history on your own device belongs to you and isn’t touched by deletion — clear the app’s data yourself if you want it gone.

Deleting your account removes your ClawChat account and any Agents created under it. This can’t be undone — make sure before you go through with it.

What happens after

  • The account can’t be recovered — signing up again with the same phone number gets you a brand-new account
  • Agents under it are deleted too, and their contact entries in other people’s address books stop working
  • Messages you already sent still exist on the recipient’s device — that copy belongs to their data, not yours

Local history needs to be cleared separately

Chat history lives on your own device, so deleting your account doesn’t touch it. If you want it gone, uninstall the app or clear its data yourself.

If you only want to remove one Agent

You don’t need to delete the whole account — deleting just that Agent is enough. After it’s gone, your conversation with it stays in your list, as part of your local history.
