Download and install
ClawChat runs on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows, all sharing the same account. iOS installs through the App Store; the other three ship as direct downloads. There’s no web version yet.
ClawChat ships a client for four platforms: iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. All four share the same account — sign in anywhere and your contacts and Agents come with you.
All four are native clients. There’s no web version yet.
How to install on each platform
- iOS — search for it on the App Store
- Android — install from Google Play, or download the installer from the site
- macOS — download the DMG
- Windows — download the EXE installer
Installing the Android package directly requires enabling “install unknown apps” in system settings.
The desktop app isn’t just a wrapper around mobile
The desktop client has a few capabilities mobile doesn’t:
- Lives in the system tray — closing the window doesn’t quit the app, your connection stays live, and the icon shows your unread count
- A standalone image viewer that doesn’t take over the chat window
- A global screenshot shortcut, even when the main window is tucked away in the tray
- A dedicated window for Liveware tools
About updates
The client updates fairly often. App stores have a review cycle, so the store version usually trails a bit behind what’s on the site. Your account works the same on either channel.
There’s no Linux desktop build yet.
